Litigation Support & Consulting

Litigation Support

CAS-MI Laboratories offers litigation support for product liability, personal injury, intellectual property and insurance cases. Our facility has almost fifty years of experience providing independent laboratory studies on paints, coatings, polymers, chemicals and other materials. When needed, our scientists are available and experienced in providing expert testimony, literature searches, data review and case evaluations.

CAS-MI's experts are adept at challenging data interpretation for use in reports, depositions and trial testimony. We ask critical questions regarding the analysis and interpretations of other testing labs such as:

  • Were the proper test methods used?
  • Were the tests carried out properly?
  • Were statistically valid sampling methods used?
  • Is the data analysis correct?
Unlike other expert witness providers, CAS-MI offers chemical analysis and materials testing services as well as litigation support. Our scientists solve analytical and materials science problems everyday, bringing years of experience in the laboratory and industry to your legal challenges.
